Wyndham Just Opened a New Hotel in the Dominican Republic

Wyndham just opened its newest hotel in the northwestern Dominican Republic city of Montecristi, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The new Wyndham Garden El Morro Montecristi has 56 rooms, along with a meeting space, a conference room, a bar, a swimming pool and a mini-market, among other amenities. 

Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader was on hand for the inauguration of the hotel this week. 

The property is targeting both leisure and corporate guests. 

It’s part of a broader expansion for Wyndham in the country, one that includes the imminent debut of the Wyndham Alltra all-inclusive resort in the Samana peninsula.
