Saint Lucia Has a Secret Villa Resort

By: Alexander Britell - August 5, 2023

You wake up to your own private pool on the edge of Rodney Bay Marina, just you and the bobbing boats and a perfect Saint Lucia breeze.

This just might be the best-kept secret in Saint Lucia: a boutique villa resort that comes with one major amenity: all the services of the island’s Bay Gardens Resorts collection.

These are the Water’s Edge Villas, a pair of direct-waterfront, four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot stunners, the kinds of luxury accommodations that mean you’re not just staying in Saint Lucia for your trip — you’re living in Saint Lucia.

They’re right on the Rodney Bay Marina.

Each of the luxury villas comes with large living rooms, private waterfront terraces, ocean-view pools and luxe furnishings.

They also come with their own “Alexa Villa Concierge,” meaning you can customize every aspect of your trip and curate an adventure and relaxation-filled Saint Lucia vacation, in the most central location on the island but also one that puts a premium on serenity.

The villas come with nearly 4,000 square feet of living space.

But the best amenity just might be Bay Gardens itself: all guests have access to the Bay Gardens Beach Club, just a five-minute walk away (also accessed by an hourly shuttle service).

That means sun loungers on the beach, unlimited use of Bay Gardens’ floating water park, Slash Island, free Wi-Fi and free non-motorized watersports and gym access. In another touch, you can charge everything at the resort back to the villa.

Inside a bathroom.

But there’s one other option that’s even more compelling: you can choose Bay Gardens’ all-inclusive plan for the villa, which, if you do so for a week, means you can tap into the property’s now-famous Dine Around Plan.

The villas also come with complete chef’s kitchens.

That gives you included meals at nine additional eateries in the Rodney Bay area, perfect for the kind of local exploration a villa guests is typically seeking. (All-inclusive villas also come with one free spa treatment per person for every three nights booked), among other inclusions.

It’s a rare opportunity to stay right on the water on an island where direct-waterfront villas are decidedly rare — with all of the comfort and convenience of a full-service resort.
