Two New Nonstop Routes to Cancun, Mexico

It’s been one of the hottest destinations in the hemisphere since the pandemic, and now Cancun, Mexico is getting a pair of new nonstop routes from the United States. 

American Airlines has announced plans to launch new flights to Cancun from Nashville and Cincinnati this winter. 

Both routes will operate once-weekly on Saturdays, with service set to kick off on Dec. 9, 2023. 

The flights will run through at least March, according to American Airlines. 

American Airlines operates 35 peak-day flights to Cancun from cities around the United States. 

That will also soon include a second daily flight from Austin, Texas to Cancun, which will kick off on Nov. 5.
