Antigua’s Airport Has a “Love Lane” For Couples Right Now

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 31, 2023

It’s one of the best ways to arrive in the Caribbean right now: the “Love Lane” fast track service for couples traveling to Antigua’s VC Bird International Airport.

All tough out June, couples entering the “Love Lane” will be fast-tracked through immigration via a special couples-only lane.

It’s all part of Antigua and Barbuda’s popular Romance Month, which runs from June 1-30.

The Love Lane is open for couples traveling to Antigua to get married, celebrate their honeymoon or just enjoy a romantic escape.

Couples have to pre-register prior to arrival (you can do so here).

“Antigua and Barbuda continues to be the top choice for couples especially after the success of last year’s Romance Month ‘Love Lane,’” said Euletta Francis , CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority. “We want all couples visiting Antigua and Barbuda to feel the love starting from the moment they arrive in the country. We want them to think of enchanting Antigua and Barbuda”, said Shermain Jeremy, Special Projects and Events Marketing Manager within the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.

It’s the second year Antigua has run the Love Lane program, the only one of its kind in the Caribbean.

“Given the resounding success of last year’s exercise, we are happy to partner with the ABTA in showcasing the V.C. Bird International Airport and providing a welcome to couples seeking the romantic allure of our charming destination”.
