In Bonaire, the Ultimate Beach Rum Party

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 23, 2023 - 5:23 pm

The Caribbean’s coolest rum festival is a weeklong celebration of premium rum on the Dutch Caribbean island in Bonaire. As this year’s Bonaire Rum Week approaches, we’ll be highlighting some of the biggest events of the festival.

That includes the Rum on the Beach party at Plaza Beach Resort in Bonaire, an afternoon of live music and premium aged rum in a spectacular beachfront setting.

It’s all part of an action-packed slate of rum events across the island from June 12-17.

This year’s Rum on the Beach event will feature more than a dozen top rums from around the Caribbean, with the featured rum once again Ron San Pablo out of Curacao, joined by rums like Diplomatico, Papa’s Pilar, Rom Rincon, El Dorado, Barcelo, Siesta Key and more.

The event runs from 4 PM to 7 PM on June 14, 2023.

It’s a great way to experience the stunning beauty of the Plaza Resort, one of the top all-inclusive resorts in the Dutch Caribbean.

Even better? Attendance is free — you just have to RSVP. Capacity is limited to be sure to do so quickly.
