The British Virgin Islands Has a New Luxury All-Inclusive Resort

Despite its surfeit of top private-island resorts, the British Virgin Islands has never had a full-fledged luxury all-inclusive resort — until now.

The Aerial, the new private-island destination in the BVI, has transformed from what had been a full-buyout model into a luxury all-inclusive.

That means that travelers can now book single and double-occupancy rooms and villas at the resort in an all-inclusive concept.

But it’s not like most all-inclusive resorts you may be familiar with.

The Aerial, which opened its doors on the BVI’s Buck Island exclusively for full buyouts back in 2021, is a decidedly wellness-focused all-inclusive with a unique slate of activities all included under its all-inclusive umbrella.

It starts, naturally, with daily meals and beverages, but expands to a slate of activities, from yoga to horseback riding to meditation and even fitness sessions at the “beach gym.”

“The Aerial, BVI has always operated with a mission to help guests reach their best selves and find vision and purpose in their lives,” said Britnie Turner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Aerial, BVI and Aerial enterprises. “This shift in booking model opens our fabulous destination to a wider audience, encouraging travelers to make transformational journeys on their own schedule with the sole goal to live life intentionally.”

The private-island resort is set on 43 acres, with 17 different accommodations across seven different residential buildings: Unity House, Faith House, Serenity House, Love and Grace Villas, and the Mindfulness and Abundance Teepees.

It’s also home to an on-site ranch called Redemption, which features animals that have been rescued from around the world.

This is a place for active travelers: the resort’s “wellness practitioners” guide guests through everything from “environmental healing” and red-light therapies to immunity-boosting treatments and ocean water therapy.

That also includes the option to create “guided-wellness retreats.”

It’s a nod to the sizzling demand for all-inclusive in the Caribbean, particularly from luxury travelers — and those looking for a different kind of all-inclusive vacation.

The Aerial will continue offering private island buyouts as well.
