Hyatt Is Opening Its Newest Punta Cana All-Inclusive

Hyatt is opening the newest addition to its Inclusive Collection next week, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The new Dreams Flora Punta Cana is opening for stays beginning Feb. 15, according to the AMR Collection’s Web site.

The 520-room-and-suite resort is located in the Cabeza de Toro area of greater Punta Cana, set about 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.

The resort has 520 units.

The resort also includes a Preferred Club, which includes a “higher level of luxury and exclusive privileges,” according to the property.

Many of the rooms include private swim-up pools, while others feature private terraces or, in some cases, outdoor hot tubs on the balconies.

The food and beverage offerings are extensive, with a combined total of 21 concepts, comprised of eight eateries and 13 different bars (yes, that includes both a pool bar and a beach bar called Barracuda).

Amenities also include multiple pools, a kids club and a teen club (along with a mini waterpark.

The resort will also have a signature Dreams Spa by Pevonia.

It’s the 24th Dreams-branded resort in the Caribbean and Mexico, and the fifth in the Dominican Republic, joining the Dreams Dominicus in La Romana and three other resorts in the Punta Cana area.
