The Caribbean’s only mango-focused festival is making its return this summer, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Nevis Mango Festival is back in 2023, running June 30-July 2, 2023, Nevis tourism officials confirmed.

It’s “the sweetest festival around, where mangoes are always the star of the show,” the Nevis Tourism Authority said in a statement.

The summer festival has a bit of everything, with chef master classes, mango eating competitions, quizzes, wellness zones and food tastings, all centered around the island’s most abundant, delicious fruit.

Indeed, Nevis is home to at least seven different native mango varieties.
