Statia’s Golden Rock Nature and Dive Resort, the island’s first luxury hotel, is expanding.

The 32-suite hotel is debuting its final phase this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.

That will include the addition of 26 new villas, along with 17 “lodges,” a new beach club, a yoga shala and a greenhouse.

The property is set on 40 acres of lush gardens near Statia’s “Quill,” the dormant volcano that’s one of the Caribbean’s top hiking destinations.

The hotel first opened its doors in 2021.
