Royalton has named a general manager for its new Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort. 

The property has tapped Luis Miguel Ojeda to the role; Ojeda is a longtime veteran of the all-inclusive industry in Mexico. 

The New Mexican Caribbean property, which is set to open in December, will have a total of 1,005 rooms. 

“Having such an experienced and talented executive with knowledge about the product and market is crucial for the experience of our soon-to-be guests,” parent company Blue Diamond Resorts said in a statement. “As the opening date approaches and our teams continue to progress, more updates will be announced accordingly.”

When it opens, the resort will be part of Marriott’s fast-expanding all-inclusive portfolio.
