Bonaire’s Top Bartenders to Face Off in Cocktail Competition

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 7, 2022

Bonaire’s top bartenders will face off in an island-wide cocktail competition during the upcoming Bonaire Rum Week

The competition, which is hosted by the island’s premier cocktail bar, Tiki & Co, will take place on Wednesday, June 15.

Tiki & Co is the brainchild of Sir Eddy Trenidad, Bonaire’s most celebrated bartender.

“Bonaire has one of the Caribbean’s emerging cocktail scenes, and the first-ever Bonaire Rum Week Cocktail Competition will see some of the island’s brightest stars show off their mixology skills,” said Alexander Britell, editor and publisher of Caribbean Journal, which is organizing the event in collaboration with Tourism Corporation Bonaire.

The event is part of the first-ever Bonaire Rum Week, a weeklong celebration of premium rum, with beach parties, tastings, culinary pairings and a chance to try some of the Caribbean’s most exciting rums.
