Hyatt’s Apple Leisure Group is opening two new all-inclusive hotels in Playa del Carmen, Mexico next month.

Apple Leisure Group’s AMR Collection will add a pair of new resorts under the Secrets brand.

That will include the 198-room Secrets Impression Playa del Carmen and the 485-room Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen.

Both will be adults-only properties.

Hyatt says the expansion is being driven by “growing leisure travel demand,” according to a statement from the company.

“We remain very intentional about where the Hyatt brand footprint grows to ensure we’re present in markets that matter most to the leisure-focused traveler of today and tomorrow,” said Jim Chu, Hyatt’s executive vice president, global franchising and development. “Our pipeline of new properties signals that Hyatt is well poised to deliver against the demand for more leisure travel experiences.”

Secrets Moxche, which will open Feb. 11, will include 11 different dining concepts, including seven a la carte eateries, a buffet and a cafe. That’s along with 10 different bars and lounges.

What the Secrets Impression Moxche will look like.

Secrets Impression Moxche is a new concept for the brand — featuring “Impression,” what the company calls its “most elevated level of all-inclusive” for the Secrets brand.

Secrets Impression Moxche is slated to open on April 1, 2022; guests will have access to the adjacent Moxche resort’s culinary options, along with several Impression-only concepts.
