Spirit Airlines Is Adding New Routes to Honduras

Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines is adding three new routes to Honduras, Caribbean Journal has learned.

In November, the carrier will launch new flights from Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Houston to San Pedro Sula’s Palmerola International Airport.

The new Palmerola Airport is replacing Tegucigalpa’s existing Toncontin International Airport.

All three routes will kick off on Nov. 17, according to the carrier.

Spirit also serves Honduras’ Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport in San Pedro Sula.
