Secrets St Martin Resort Now Planning April 1 Relaunch
The highly anticipated reopening of AMResorts’ first-ever resort in the French Caribbean is now set for April 1, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new Secrets St Martin, which had just debuted before the onset of the pandemic in March of last year, is taking reservations for an April 1 reopening.
The new all-inclusive is a major new addition to the French side of the island, a dramatic transformation of the former Riu Palace St Martin on the island’s scenic Anse Marcel beach (that property was largely destroyed in Hurricane Irma).
The new resort features a total of 258 suites along with six dining concepts and a spectacular oceanfront pool.
It will be reopening under AMResorts’ CleanComplete safety and hygiene protocols.
Despite a broader French border closure, the French side of St Martin is currently open for tourism, from its tiny boutique hotels like Karibuni to popular resorts like the Grand Case Beach Club.
You can find more about visiting the French and Dutch sides of the island here.
