Sandals Reopens More Resorts in Jamaica, Saint Lucia

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 4, 2021

Sandals Resorts has reopened pair of its most popular properties in the Caribbean, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The all-inclusive company has reopened its Sandals Ocho Rios Beach Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and its Sandals Halcyon Beach on the island of Saint Lucia.

“Congrats to my incredible teams – we can’t wait to serve our customers,” said Sandals Resorts International Executive Chairman Adam Stewart.

The relaunch of Sandals Ochi means Sandals has now reopened all of its six resorts across Jamaica and all of its three resorts in Saint Lucia.

Both properties have relaunched under Sandals’ new Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness health and safety protocols.

For now, Sandals’ resorts in Barbados, The Bahamas and Grenada remain closed.

The next Sandals property to relaunch will be the Sandals Emerald Bay resort in Great Exuma, which is slated to reopen on Feb. 24.

Both Saint Lucia and Jamaica have been open for tourism since June of last year.
