LVMH’s St Barth Hotel Is Reopening

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 17, 2020

LVMH’s Cheval Blanc St Barth Isle de France is reopening its doors later this month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The ultra-luxe resort on Flamands Beach in St Barth will reopen on Oct. 29, according to WIMCO, whose hotel specialists help travelers find the perfect accommodations in St Barth.

The property is now the largest hotel on the island, following the recent acquisition of the former Hotel Taiwana.

LVMH also has three other Caribbean properties in its collection, following its 2018 acquisition of Belmond.

The Cheval Blanc will also play host to this year’s St Barth Gourmet Festival, which is part of a broader gastronomic celebration on the island in November.

The island’s full-fledged culinary week is highlighted by the Gourmet Festival and the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Rum Awards, which will take place Nov. 10-15.
