Blue Diamond Reopens Jamaica, Mexico Resorts

Sunwing’s Blue Diamond Resorts has reopened six of its resorts in Mexico and Jamaica, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The all-inclusive brand company has reopened the Royalton Riviera Cancun; Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun; Mystique Holbox by Royalton on Isla Holbox; Royalton Negril Resort and Spa; Hideaway at Royalton Negril and Grand Lido Negril. 

All of the aforementioned resorts officially relaunched on July 15 under the company’s new health and safety program, whcich is approved by the “Cristal International Safety Standards.”

“We are excited to welcome back guests to our award-winning resorts in Cancun, Isla Holbox and Negril,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Hotels and Resorts at Sunwing Travel Group.

 During our temporary closure we worked tirelessly to implement enhanced safety protocols and cleaning measures to prepare our resorts for reopening and assure guests that their health and safety is our number one priority.”

Blue Diamond recently rebranded several of its resorts, adding the Royalton moniker as part of a wider expansion of that brand
