Park Hyatt Is Making a Big Expansion into Mexico

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 6, 2020

The luxe Park Hyatt brand is making a big expansion into Mexico next year.

Parent company Hyatt Hotels Corporation has confirmed a pair of new Park Hyatt hotels coming to Mexico in 2021.

They will include the 163-room Park Hyatt Los Cabos and the 155-room Park Hyatt Mexico City.

The Park Hyatt Los Cabos will be set on 26 acres in the Cabo del Sol golf community; it will also include a residential component.

The Park Hyatt Mexico City, which will also feature a 23-unit real estate wing, will be set in Mexico City’s hip Campos Eliseos Street.

“Each Park Hyatt hotel is custom designed to combine sophistication with understated luxury,” Hyatt said in a statement.

They will join the Park Hyatt St Kitts as the only Park Hyatt-branded hotels in the wider Caribbean-Mexico region.

“The Americas region continues to be a top priority for Hyatt and prospective developers due to business demand in several strong regional markets like Mexico,” the company said in a statement.

There are more hotel rooms in development in Mexico than any other country in the wider region.
