Cancun Is Getting Another Dreams Resort

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 15, 2020

Another Dreams-branded resort is coming to the heart of Cancun, part of a big expansion for the all-inclusive brand.

The Dreams Vista Cancun Resort and Spa is set to open on Feb. 22, according to Apple Leisure Group.

The newest AMResorts property will be set in Cancun’s tony Puerta del Mar gated community, with a total of 416 ocean-view rooms and suites.

The newest Dreams resort in Mexico (Dreams just opened a new Dreams resort in Acapulco at the end of last year) will feature amenities like a rooftop pool, two surf pools and a Dreams Spa by Pevonia, among others.

The family-friendly Dreams Vista Cancun will also include a total of eight dining options: four a la carte eateries, along with a buffet, a food court, a snack bar and a coffee and ice cream shop.

The a la carte restaurants will include the Italian-style Portfino; a Mexican option called Mi Lucrecia; the World Cafe international eatery and the “light fresh cuisine” La Terraza.

AMResorts said the property would also include an “in-kitchen” dining option called The Chef’s Table, at a premium.

It’s been a rather busy quarter for Dreams, which also just opened a new resort in Curacao and will soon be debuting another in Punta Cana

Dreams Vista Cancun joins two other Dreams-branded resorts in greater Cancun: the Dreams Sands Cancun and the Dreams Riviera Cancun.
