One of MSC Cruises’ major ships has officially made its debut in North America.

The MSC Meraviglia, which will eventually be homeporting in Miami, will launch its first Caribbean cruises out of New York on Oct. 28.

MSC Meraviglia will be the first ship to call on Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s new private destination in The Bahamas.

Ocean Cay will debut Nov. 9.

From Nov through April 2020, MSC Meraviglia will sail two different seven-night Caribbean itineraries, including stops at ports in Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Belize, Honduras and The Bahamas.
