Antigua’s Carlisle Bay Has a New Look

Carlisle Bay has unveiled a fresh look for 2019.

The resort underwent a refurbishment project overseen by new Managing Director Thomas Orchard that included updating the color scheme to “fresh neutral and bright white tones,” along with enhanced dining options and amenities for guests.

Formerly gray balconies and terraces leading from the resort’s suites are now white, accenting them against the garden and ocean backdrops.

The resort’s Beach Balcony Suites received updated decor with pops of blue and green to play off the suites’ views.

Across the resort’s accommodations, white painted ceilings were sanded down to their original wood finish for a more natural look.

The property also added new air conditioners, updated dining venues and a makeover at the Jetty Grill.

Carlisle Bay also added a new collection of daybeds and chaises for napping, sipping handmade cocktails or delighting in the resort’s signature daily Afternoon Tea.

The resort’s 45-seat Screening Room, which was the first of its kind in the Caribbean, was fully restored all the way from its Italian leather seating to its theater-sized screen.
