Sandals has always pushed the envelope for what’s possible at an all-inclusive, from the region’s first all-inclusive speakeasy to a bowling alley.

And now they’re at it again.

Sandals Royal Barbados has opened the brand’s first ever donut shop: Sweet n’ Salty’s Gourmet Donuts & Coffee.

Billed as the Caribbean’s first and only all-inclusive resort to feature an exclusive donut-only eatery, it offers an assortment of treats ranging from gourmet traditional cake donuts to unique flavor combinations with options of sweet, savory and salty.

Open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily for guests of Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados, the menu ranges from S’mores  – a chocolate cake donut with melted marshmallow and graham cracker crumbs; Berrylicous – a cake donut with strawberry icing, berry compote and custard; to Yuzu Kazi – which combines yuzu icing, sushi rice and shredded nori.

For a local treat, the Coco Loco donut infuses Caribbean flavors of coconut, jerk and pineapple compote into a cake donut delicacy.

Accompanying the confections are gourmet lattes, cappuccinos and international specialty blends.

And yes — that means unlimited donuts.
