Excellence Group Luxury Hotels and Resorts is expanding again with a new all-inclusive resort in the heart of the Dominican Republic’s most popular destination.

The company has unveiled plans to open a new luxury all-inclusive in Punta Cana under its “Finest” hotel brand.

The Finest Punta Cana will be Excellence’s third Dominican Republic all-inclusive, and the second Finest-branded hotel in the region, joining the existing Finest Playa Mujeres on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

The property, slated to debut in the first half of 2020, will boast 450 suites, with amenities like large jacuzzis, fully-stocked in-room bars, private pools and rooftop terraces.

And the suites will be sizable, ranging from 800 to 2,000 square feet, according to a statement from the company.

That’s along with at least 20 bars and restaurants, along with a spa and six swimming pools, among other amenities.

While it will be a family-friendly property, there will be an adults-only enclave.

“We are thrilled to be opening our second Finest Resort in Punta Cana. Our resorts offer the convenience of an all-inclusive experience and the amenities of a luxurious five-star property while seamlessly combining both family-friendly and adults-only options,” said Domingo Aznar, vice president at Excellence Group. “We are thrilled to offer a whole new all-inclusive luxury experience for both adults and families traveling to the Dominican Republic.”

The company has not yet revealed the precise location; it will be located approximately 35 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, however.
