Princess to Debut the Biggest Balconies on Any Cruise Ship

Cruise line Princess Cruises is planning to debut what it’s calling the largest private balconies in at sea, the company said this week.

The brand’s new Sky Suites will launch onboard the new Sky Princess ship when it sets sail in October.

Two Sky Suites will have balconies with 1,012 and 947 square feet, including private vantage points for the ship’s Movie Under the Stars outdoor theater screen.

Each suite will have capacity for five guests, with 270-degree panorama views and an emphasis on entertaining space.

The suites come with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dining area with a skylight; amenities range from “private suite experience managers” to free access to the ship’s Lotus Spa Enclave.
