The Moorings Has a New Destination: Martinique

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 24, 2019

Leading yacht charter company The Moorings has added a new destination in the Caribbean: the French Caribbean island of Martinique.

The entry to Martinique will include bareboat and skippered charters on both sail and power yachts for the winter of 2019.

The company’s fleet in Martinique will include mid-size Beneteau monohulls, along with Robertson & Caine catamarans — including the Moorings 4500 and the 514 Power catamaran, according to the company.

It’s a great way to explore what is one of the more fascinating places in the Caribbean, from its rich culture, thriving rum industry and marvelous food.

The company’s fleet will be based at the La Marina du Marin base in the southeastern corner of the island.

“From hiking through lush rainforests to bathing in natural hot springs, strolling along exotic black-sand beaches to feasting on authentic French and Creole cuisine, this one-of-a-kind destination is worthy of every traveler’s bucket list,” says Josie Tucci, Vice President of Sales for The Moorings. “A Martinique yacht charter with The Moorings is your all-access pass to French-Caribbean paradise in its purest form.”
