Hyatt’s adults-only all-inclusives in Montego Bay and Cancun have unveiled new-look spas, following a transformation project by parent company Playa Hotels and Resorts.

The new Zen Spas at the Hyatt Zilara in Cancun and the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Jamaica incorporate influences from local Mayan and Jamaica traditions, respectively.

The new Cancun spa has 22,800 square feet of spa space, including 11 treatment rooms, four couples’ suites with jacuzzis, an outdoor terrace and lounge, a beauty salon, a hydrotherapy circuit and assorted Mayan-inspired art.

The new-look spa in Jamaica has four beachfront treatment cabanas, including oceanfront open-air couples’ massage cottages, with locally-inspired treatments like a Blue Mountain Coffee Scrub and an Ortanique Citrus Scrub.

It also includes a new 6,620-square-foot fitness facility, with strength training equipment from MATRIX and daily spin classes.
