A new hotel project is coming to the island of Bermuda.

The Bermudiana Beach Resort, which will be Bermuda’s first “mid-market boutique resort,” is slated for completion in 2020, according to a statement from the Bermuda Tourism Authority.

OBMI Bermuda is providing architectural and interior design support on the project, which is a redevelopment of an existing Grand Atlantic condo resort.

The estimated $23 million project will turn the property’s existing 78 two and three-bedroom units into a full-service resort.

The end result will be a full-service condominium hotel with resort amenities.
