The fast-expanding Hato International Airport in Curaçao has added another new carrier to its portfolio.

Dominican Republic airline Air Century has officially launched nonstop service between Santo Domingo and Curaçao.

Santo Domingo has become one of the Caribbean’s new hotspots for adventurous travelers.

The carrier will be flying between the Dominican Republic’s capital and Curaçao three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, according to a statement.

Air Century will be operating the service on SAAB 340 aircraft with 40 seats, with eventual plans to run the flights on a CRJ200 with a capacity of 200 seats.
