St Martin: Belmond La Samanna to Reopen in December

St Martin’s flagship resort is making a comeback.

The ultra-luxe Belmond La Samanna in St Martin has announced plans to reopen on Dec. 10, according to a spokesperson for the property.

The Baie Longue-area resort is undergoing a recovery and upgrade project.

That includes an “array of pastel hues” and an update to the resort’s beach.

La Samanna’s Trellis restaurant will also reopen in December, as will its La Cave, which is home to one of the largest wine cellars in the Caribbean region.

Anguilla’s Cap Juluca, Belmond’s other resort in the Caribbean, is planning to reopen in November.
