Disney Cruise Line is returning to the British Virgin Islands this summer, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The cruise line, one of the major cruise operators to the British Virgin Islands and the Tortola Pier Park in particular, is slated to Return Aug. 28.

The news was confirmed in a statement by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board.

That will be the first call for the line since last year’s storms.

Disney and Norwegian signed a pair of high-profile berthing deals with the British Virgin Islands back in 2014 that transformed the territory into one of the region’s fastest-growing ports of call.
