A pair of Caribbean airlines have launched a deeper partnership.

Haiti-based Sunrise Airways and Dutch Caribbean carrier Inselair have launched a new cooperation agreement.

The cooperation agreement will be implemented in two phases: in the first phase, both airlines will sell tickets on one another’s flights.

During the second phase, which will begin in two months, the two airlines will merge their reservations systems.

That will mean travelers can book only one ticket to travel between any of the destinations served by the airlines.

Sunrise operates flights from Port au Prince to Caribbean destinations including Curacao, Cuba and the Dominican Republic (along with international flights out of Miami and Orlando).
