Emotions Hotel Opens in Puerto Plata

Another new hotel has made its debut on Playa Dorada on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.

The new all-inclusive Emotions Hotel, a project by the Hodelpa Group, is the product of a $40 million investment, in partnership with the Viamar Group and the Rizek Construction Company.

The hotel has a total of 475 rooms, along with 12 restaurants and bars, four swimming pools, two jacuzzi, a spa, a casino and event space for 800 people.

It also has both family-friendly and adults-only room categories.

Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina was on hand for the opening ceremony this week.
