IAG’s LEVEL to Launch Martinique, Guadeloupe Flights

New European low-cost long-haul carrier LEVEL is expanding its offering to the French Caribbean.

International Airlines Group’s new airline will launch flights from Paris Orly to both Guadeloupe and Martinique beginning in July 2018.

LEVEL will base two Airbus A330-200 aircraft at Orly, with 293 economy and 21 premium economy seats.

Fares start from €99 one-way and are already on sale.

The airline had begun operations this year with a hub in Barcelona.

“LEVEL’s Barcelona operation has been an incredible success. Customers love it and LEVEL will be profitable this year,” said Willie Walsh, IAG’s Chief Executive. “Barcelona was always a first step and today we’re delighted to launch flights from our second European city with four exciting new routes from Paris.”

“Like Barcelona, Orly is a Vueling hub which means that customers will be able to fly there from other parts of Europe to connect onto LEVEL. We will also benefit from the local experience and knowledge of the OpenSkies team,” Walsh said.

LEVEL currently flies from Barcelona to Buenos Aires, San Francisco and another Caribbean destination, Punta Cana.
