There’s a new way to get to the Bahamas from West Palm Beach.

Silver Airways has announced the launch of new nonstop flights between West Palm Beach and Bimini, the first flights to Bimini out of Palm Beach County.

The flights will begin April 20, according to the company.

Silver also announced new flights between Tampa and Bimini, also set to launch April 20.

“We are thrilled to continue expanding our already robust network between Florida and the Bahamas with new service between West Palm Beach and Bimini,” said Jason Bewley, Silver Airways CFO and Executive Vice President.  “We look forward to giving travelers in West Palm Beach and Tampa convenient options to experience the new Hilton at Resorts World Bimini and why it truly is better in the Bahamas.”

Silver Airways has the most Florida-Bahamas flights of any airline.

Silver already operates flights from West Palm Beach to both Nassau and Marsh Harbour.

The company operates a fleet of 21 34-seat Saab 340B Plus turboprop aircraft.
