New York’s Root & Bone Opens Puerto Rico Pop-Up

Popular New York City eater Root & Bone has debuted a pop-up restaurant in Puerto Rico.

The foodie haven has debuted a new outpost at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort, where it will be serving its rural American-inspired staples (along with some Puerto Rican favorites) through April.

The menu will include favorites such as Drunken Deviled Eggs and Momma’s Biscuit & Chicken Jus, along with locally-inspired dishes like “Mofongo of the South” and “Mango Queso Blanco.”

The resort is located on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico close to the El Yunque rainforest and about 19 miles from San Juan.
