VIDEO: Why The Sands Is the Perfect Beach Hotel

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 8, 2016

It never hurts to be on one of the world’s best beaches.

But some places take a great beach and turn into something more.

That’s decidedly the case at The Sands at Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, a 114-suite beach resort that is one of the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets.

Set on Grace Bay, the resort has very large, fully-equipped suites, a pair of pools and a boutique spa, along with its Hemingway’s restaurant, one of Providenciales’ must-visit restaurant (indeed, it’s as authentic a beachside dining experience as you’ll find in the region).

There’s just a special kind of energy here, an overwhelming tranquility that permeates the property; it’s always calm, quiet and all about enjoying the wonders of Grace Bay. As you walk around, it feels as if the guests here know they’ve found the perfect beach retreat.
