New Hotel Brand Coming to Riviera Maya

A new hotel brand is coming to the Mexican Caribbean: UNICO Hotels and Resorts.

The brand’s first hotel is slated to open on the Riviera Maya early next year: UNICO Hotel Riviera Maya.

The property will have 448 guest rooms, along with a diverse dining program, resort pools, three bars, two swim-up bars and a cigar bar.

The hotel will also have a signature restaurant called Cueva Siete, which will feature a rotating chef concept paying homage to traditional Yucatan dishes.

UNICO has tapped former Top Chef Mexico contestant Christian Bravo as its new executive chef.
