The Sands at Grace Bay Begins $4.5 Million Upgrade Project

Turks and Caicos’ The Sands at Grace Bay resort has launched a $4.5 million upgrade project, the property announced this week.

The major focus of the project will be on the resort’s 114 studio and suite rooms. Interior designer Rose Kelly of Inter Decor will update the rooms with new furnishings, modern-abstract artwork and new furniture by Asmayda Furniture Group of Miami.

Hemingway’s Restaurant at the Sands, which is adding some new menu updates.

That’s in addition to a new luxury bedding collection by Atlantic Hospitality, new patio furniture, new bar stools and new lighting across all rooms, along with updates the property’s desks, tables and dining rooms furnishings.

The aim is to bring an even more “luxurious appeal” to the resort, the property said.
