Island Routes Expands to Mexico

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 6, 2016

Sandals Resorts International’s Island Routes tour company is expanding to Mexico.

The company officially signed a contract with its first partner in Mexico, Dolphin Discovery, at the beginning of the month.

The signing came on the company’s seventh anniversary.

“I am immensely proud to announce this new offering,” said Adam Stewart, CEO of Island Routes. “The launch of Mexico reaffirms our commitment to providing our customers with new products and services that continuously exceed their expectations, whilst delivering seamless, unforgettable experiences.  As a further testament to this, since 2010, Island Routes has been named the World’s Leading Caribbean Attraction Company on five occasions, showing that people value the Island Routes difference.”

Island Routes already operates tours in Antigua, Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, St Lucia, Grenada, Turks and Caicos Islands, the Dominican Republic and St Maarten.

“With Island Routes as a commercial partner we are confident we will increase the penetration that we are looking to achieve in the Caribbean. The sum of awards and certifications between the two companies will result in providing our customers with the experience of a lifetime”, said Alejandro Maldonado, Corporate E-Business Manager, Dolphin Discovery.

The company said Mexico was the first of two destinations that the company would be launching by the end of 2016.
