How to Travel to the US Virgin Islands, For Less

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 28, 2016

It’s summer in the Caribbean, meaning the water is warm, the beaches are less crowded and the rates are often dramatically lower.

And that’s true in the US Virgin Islands, which is now offering several incentives for summer travelers to the destination.

The USVI’s Summer-Fall promotion includes a fourth night free offer, along with a $350 spending credit.

Travelers need to book by July 16, and all travel must be completed by June 5 and Oct. 15.

“The United States Virgin Islands is nice all year round, but we are especially nice in the summer with lots of festivals, events and activities for travelers looking for a fabulous vacation value,” Nicholson-Doty said.

The Department of Tourism said it expected the promotion to drive more than $1.5 million in visitor expenditures through mid-October.
