TSA Precheck has expanded to Puerto Rico-based Seaborne Airlines.

The program, which lets eligible, pre-screened travelers go through a separate security line without having to remove their shoes, belt, jackets or laptops, will now be available for enrolled customers traveling between San Juan, St Croix and St Thomas airports.

Qualified passengers on Seaborne traveling with the airline’s codeshare partners American Airlines and JetBlue can experience the program as well.

“Expanding TSA Precheck will enable more travelers to experience the program’s benefits while improving security and reducing checkpoint wait times,” Said TSA Administrator Peter Neffenger. “As more people enroll, we will be better position to increase overall security effectiveness and create more efficiency in the screening process.”

Passengers who are eligible and enrolled in Seaborne’s TSA Precheck program include membres of the TSA Precheck program, US Customs and Border Protection Trusted Traveler, Global Entry and Canadian citizens who are members of CBP’s Nexus program.
“We are very happy to provide our customers with added value with safe and convenient travel option,” said Susana Castro, Director of Safety and Regulatory Compliance.
