Marriott Expands in Costa Rica With El Mangroove Resort

Marriott is continuing to expand its Autograph Collection Hotels portfolio in the Caribbean Basin.

The brand has added its second hotel in Costa Rica, the El Mangroove boutique resort.

The 85-suite property includes a pool stretching over 130 feet with views of the Gulf of Papagayo, a state-of-the-art spa and a focus on active travel.

The property, which spans 17 acres and 150 meters of beachfront, is about 20 minutes from Costa Rica’s Liberia airport.

It is the latest Autograph hotel announced by Marriott in the region, following the recent addition of the soon-to-be-renovated Habitation Jouissant in Haiti.
