Jamaica’s First Reggae Carnival

A new focus on reggae

This February, Montego Bay will host its first annual reggae carnival.

The carnival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 AM every day throughout the month at varying locations.

The weeks will kick off with Reggae Night at Margaritaville and a Reggae Arts Exhibition at The Gloucestershire Hotel on Sundays.

Mondays will feature Reggae Monday Night-Out at Rehab Lounge.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays will feature Reggae in the Sun Live at Montego Bay Fishing Village, a Reggae Music Expo at The Gloucestershire Hotel, and the Paul Campbell Reggar Film Festival at Donway.

The weeks will conclude with Reggae Musiq Bar at the Pork Pit on Thursdays, Reggae Night-Out Margaritaville on Fridays, and Reggae in the Sun Live at Montego Bay Fishing Village on Saturday.

Other activities will include Bob Marley and Dennis Brown Birthday Celebrations, smartphone video production workshops, show business workshops, and a variety of seminars, among others.
