American Airlines Begins Los Angeles-Montego Bay Flights

American Airlines has officially begun its new nonstop service from Los Angeles to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The carrier will be operating twice-weekly service to Jamaica from the West Coast on Fridays and Saturdays.

The flights will depart Los Angeles at 10:59 PM, arriving at Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport at 7:40 AM the next day.

The return flights will depart Sangster at 10:00 AM, arriving in Los Angeles at 1:21 PM, according to the company.

A number of Jamaican tourism officials were on hand at a ceremony to celebrate the launch.
