Norwegian Breakaway Just Docked in This Caribbean Port for the First Time

A new port of call

Norwegian Breakaway sailed into the shores of Virgin Islands for the first time today.

The ship made its inaugural call to the port of Road Town.

Captain Mikael Hilden received a plaque from Minister of Communications Mark Vanterpool in commemoration of the occasion, as did Norwegian Cruise Line from its agents, Island Shipping.

Norwegian Breakaway is the fifth Norwegian Cruise Line ship to berth at the newly expanded pier, and will return in January 2016.

The ship holds approximately 6,500 crew and passengers.
