Serenity will be just a suite away at Club Med Punta Cana when the new Zen Oasis section of the resort is unveiled on Dec. 19.

Exclusively for adults, the enclave will comprise 78 new guest rooms with spa-like bathrooms that feature rainfall showers, soaking tubs, soothing lighting and L’Occitane toiletries, as well outdoor daybeds on private terraces or gardens.

Secluded on the northeast edge of the property, the relaxation-focused retreat will also have a “Zen” pool with in-water lounge chairs; an Olympic-sized lap pool; it’s own beach; a wellness bar serving smoothies, tea and healthy cocktails; and a palapa for yoga lessons.

Club Med Punta Cana also features the Caribbean’s first L’Occitane spa, and in June launched the Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil program, which offers instruction in acrobatic and circus arts.

Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive resort concept, operates five resorts in the Caribbean and celebrates its 65th anniversary this year.
