Aruba Development Corporation VBA has launched timeshare sales at the Tropicana Aruba Resort & Casino, the company announced.

ADC, which is, an affiliate of Tropicana Entertainment Inc., has selected Interval International as its exclusive vacation exchange and benefits provider.

“We’re very pleased to welcome such a well recognized and respected brand to the industry and look forward to supporting Tropicana’s success for many years to come,” said David Gilbert, president of Interval International. “Aruba has long been one of the most highly demanded vacation destinations in our network. We know that the significant investment being made at the resort will ensure memorable vacation experiences for Tropicana’s owners and Interval’s members staying at this tropical retreat.”

The resort, located a few miles away from Aruba’s capital of Oranjestad, includes two restaurants, a boutique casino, a multi-level pool, full-service spa and a fitness center, among other amenities.

Tropicana is currently conducting a multi-million dollar renovation to the property, with phase one set for completion by the end of the year.

The project will include a variety of improvements, including the remodeling of a 74-unit building with upgraded appliances and finishes, and new decor and bedding.

“Since completing the resort’s acquisition, our company has embarked on a multi-million dollar renovation program to transform the property, including infrastructure, amenities, and guestroom renovations,” said Anthony Rodio, President and CEO of Tropicana. “Interval is a well-respected name in the timeshare industry and has been a great partner since we entered this new segment of the business. In addition to being an important resource, Interval offers state-of-the-art sales technology and value-added services.”
