How Guadeloupe and Martinique Are Helping to Facilitate Access to Dominica

French authorities have launched a visa waiver for travelers looking to reach Dominica by ferry.
Authorities in Guadeloupe and Martinique have extended a visa waiver for travelers who enter either country in order to take a ferry to Dominica.
The waiver is valid until Sunday, Sept. 6.
Regional air carrier LIAT said that travelers holding a LIAT ticket from Dominica can change their flight to or from Martinique, Guadeloupe or Saint Lucia at no charge.
French Ferry operator L’Express des Iles has expanded its service to facilitate trips to the island after its main airport was damaged during Tropical Storm Erika last week.
