Grenada Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell departed late this week for Canada for a series of “engagements of national interests,” according to a government statement.

The Prime Minister was slated to visit Toronto on Friday, including a trip to the Grenada Day Festival.

He will be holding a fundraising event with Grenadians on Sunday, along with meetings with private investors.

On Sunday, Mitchell will be leaving Toronto for Barbados, for a meeting with the West Indies Cricket Review Panel.

Mitchell convened that panel in May while serving as lead head under CARICOM with responsibility for cricket review.

He will return to Grenada on Monday.
