Now Onyx All-Inclusive Resort Breaks Ground in Punta Cana

The Now Onyx all-inclusive resort has officially broken ground in the Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana tourism hub.

The all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana is being developed by Spanish group Martinon, with management by AMResorts.

The 500-room resort will create around 700 new jobs, according to a government estimate.

The estimated investment of the project is $85 million.

AMResorts has three branded Now resorts in the Caribbean region, including one already in Punta Cana: Now Larimar Punta Cana.

The project is slated to open in November 2016.
